Puppy food?

My male Yorkie is three months today. I have always kept all my dogs on puppy food as recommended by the pet stores & vets. However, my Yorkie has an ear infection [yeast from eating our cat's food]. I went into a local pet store today and they gave me Merrick brand that’s main ingredients are buffalo, oatmeal and barley. I believe it’s wheat free, and it has bacteria cultures that are found in yogurt to combat the yeast infection. Anyways, my question is, is it okay to feed him this, or does he need a diet speciffically designed for a puppy.

He is a very picky eater and he started eating this immediately, so I’d really like to keep him on this if it is okay.

Is rice good for my dogs?

Hi guys, I have 2 adorable male labs and I feed them a mix of white rice and jo-jo (chunks) dog food once everyday.
One of them has re-occurring yeast infection, which i treat with equal parts of vinegar and water every other day. I also put some drops of it in his ear. But the infection is so bad that if I don’t treat him with it for like 3 days, it comes back worse and i have to start all over again.

My other dog doesnt have a yeast infection but they both itch badly. I bathe them once in 2 weeks and they have their regular shots from the vet.

i don’t want to go the vet because when the yeast infection started, it went on for like 6 weeks or more and the vet couldn’t figure out what it was. He tried about 4 different medications that worked temporarily and finally didn’t know what to do. I got the apple cider vinegar treatment from the internet and it seemed to work ok.

what i don’t know is whether their diet is wrong. I don’t know what to do. could you please give me ideas on what they can eat if their diet is wrong or what i can apply on their skins for both the yeast infection and itchy skin.

Thanks a lot.

Anyone have advice for my penile yeast infection?

Im 21 years old male and i have a penile yeast infection that i cant get rid of. I’ve had it for 16months now and it reoccurs very often. I got infected through unprotected sex with a female. I started useing canesten 5 months after initial infection and that didnt do anything. Then the doctor gave me ketoderm to apply once for 2-4 weeks and that works but the yeast infection symptoms reoccur around 7+ days after i stop useing it especially red blemishes on the penis head. I have not been on any antibiotics. I have been drinking alcohol on a weekend basis and it seems that can be feeding the infection. I am uncircumcised and i would like some advice on treating this further because its getin to the point where its affecting my mental state and everyday life. Any adivice on diet or other remmedies would be great. thanks
Thank you everyone for the feedback, its amazing how fast you all replyed. After first sign of symptoms about 5months after intercourse I had a bloodtest taken for STDs and they didnt get back to me so im guessin i dont have genitial herpes. I spoke with the female i had sex with after my first symptoms and she had been to the doctor and was diagonosed with a yeast infection. My doctor however never did any tests im guessing assumed it was one according to my symptoms and my story. I havnt had sex since and im dying to cure this dam yeast infection! I will try some of these methods and i hope it works! THank you all I will let you know my outcome soon

What is the best Anti-Candida Diet?

I woke up this morning feeling like I got hit by a car. (yes, I’ve been hit by a car before, I know what it feels like.) I discovered in the last few days that I have a male yeast infection, and after extensive research into it, trying to determine what questions I should ask my dr, I stumbled on Candida. I’ve stumbled across multiple websites all over the internets that say, buy my supplement to to rid yourself of Candida. For most people that have a disposable income, (which isn’t many in this recession) the cost of the product isn’t so prohibitive. However, I’m on a fixed income. Fixed income is the governments way of saying that we’re going to pay you less than poverty level income, and there’s nothing you can do about it.
Anyways, all of these sites have a list of Candida overgrowth symptoms, etc, and it would appear that I have all of them as they apply to males. It’s difficult for me to determine if this is just all some fad or hype on the internet, because it seems the best source of information is from those people that want to sell me some obscure fix.
I remember being capable of applying my mind to a problem and being able to work through it to the end of the problem. Over the last 2 years, my mind has become quite a foggy mess, and I find it difficult to remain on task, because I forget what I was thinking about.
As there are many differences as to what the ‘best’ is, I decided to clarify what I think would be good for me as far as best.
I need a diet that is easy to follow, and is affordable on my income. I spend between -0 a month on food. I haven’t done much shopping yet for the month, but I estimate to have around remaining for the month.
I won’t buy any ’special – specific anti candida treatments’. I cannot afford to waste that money, and money back guarantees are frustrating. (odds are I’ll forget anyways.)
Since I’m often erratic in my means and methods, I intend to stock my food stores up with things that aim to be anti-candida, so no matter what I manage to grab to feed myself, will be along the lines of my end goal. (anti – candida snack foods)
I’ve taken the first step toward this goal, and I have resigned to drinking my iced tea without any sugar in it. I read somewhere that I should avoid tea for an anti candida diet. I need to know if this is something I can ignore. I drink just standard tea, orange pekoe, I brew it pretty strong, 10 small bags for about 3-8 hours per 2 quarts of water. I also brew it cold. It’s pretty much my last vice, other than smoking, and when I quit that, my tea will be my last vice.
I’m sorry the detail is lengthy, I hope it is not too redundant. Thank you to all who try to help me with this in advance.
For those of you that desire to SPAM this thread, don’t. I will not tolerate answers that are totally unrelated to my question, answers that promote some silly site where you are trying to make a buck on a referral, I want a direct, informative answer related to my question. If you can’t be bothered to READ the question, and the guidelines for answers, don’t bother answering it.

Male Yeast infection?

Hey, im 17 year old male and i’ve had a yeast infection for roughly 3 months (So i found out tonight).

I read up a bit and decided to change my diet, before i was drinking all soft drink and juice and now im drinking 4L of water a day to replace the other fluid. That is roughly 200g of sugar that im not getting so that alone will help, should it not?

I also am eating a bit of yoghurt daily (roughly 350g) and having 2g of added Vitamin C through supplement.

Would this be enough to help get rid of the infection and restore balance inside me?

Thanks
