Is it possible for a woman to get a yeast infection from using a latex condom if there is no lubricant used and there is some friction? I’m just curious because after everytime my boyfriend and I use a condom I get yeast infection symptoms and I also get UTI symptoms. Can someone please explain this to me! I just want good lovin’ with no problems!!! : )

Ok this is REALLY embarassing, but I’ve just been to the loo and when i was wiping down there, about a spoonful of jelly like discharge was on the tissue!!it was kind of clear with small yellow bits in it, and was like gak (if anyone remembers what that is!)and really stringy! Then I wiped again and more came out!!!
I cam off my birth control a month ago, and had my second period since then just a few days ago. I’m going to the doctors this afternoon anyway, but would rather not talk to my MALE doctor about this!
I cant be pregnant
I shouldnt be ovulating for another week
I dont have any STI’s
I dont have any other yeast-infection symptoms
I have also been gettin really bad pain in my ovaries and didnt sleep because of it last night.
I have had a smear and it was clear
And there are no URI infections
Help!!!!

Im 21 years old male and i have a penile yeast infection that i cant get rid of. I’ve had it for 16months now and it reoccurs very often. I got infected through unprotected sex with a female. I started useing canesten 5 months after initial infection and that didnt do anything. Then the doctor gave me ketoderm to apply once for 2-4 weeks and that works but the yeast infection symptoms reoccur around 7+ days after i stop useing it especially red blemishes on the penis head. I have not been on any antibiotics. I have been drinking alcohol on a weekend basis and it seems that can be feeding the infection. I am uncircumcised and i would like some advice on treating this further because its getin to the point where its affecting my mental state and everyday life. Any adivice on diet or other remmedies would be great. thanks
Thank you everyone for the feedback, its amazing how fast you all replyed. After first sign of symptoms about 5months after intercourse I had a bloodtest taken for STDs and they didnt get back to me so im guessin i dont have genitial herpes. I spoke with the female i had sex with after my first symptoms and she had been to the doctor and was diagonosed with a yeast infection. My doctor however never did any tests im guessing assumed it was one according to my symptoms and my story. I havnt had sex since and im dying to cure this dam yeast infection! I will try some of these methods and i hope it works! THank you all I will let you know my outcome soon

A few days after my period, I noticed some itching around my crotch area. This went on for 2-3 days without becoming severe. I then had sex with my boyfriend yesterday, but it did not feel good, so I had him pull out. He noticed little chunks of white discharge on his penis, so we eventually came to the conclusion that I had a yeast infection. I have never had one before. We just went and purchased the generic store brand of Monistat 3-Day with three vaginal suppositories and three applicators (I’d heard that the actual Monistat brand burns upon application, so I didn’t want to take any chances with that). I am a little puzzled by the applicators and the suppositories, but I’ll figure it out tonight before use. I am 25 years old, to give some background.
I was wondering, since we had sex while I had the yeast infection, does he need to get treated as well? I have read that he could cause me to get another vaginal yeast infection if we had sex again after I treat what I have now. How does a male get treated for this? We will not be having sex until I am rid of this yeast infection.
Also, do vaginal yeast infections ever go away on their own, or do they always need to be cured with OTC or doctor-prescribed treatments? Are there any side effects of waiting more than a few days to get treated?
Thank you for any knowledgeable help and advice.
Thank you for all the responses so far. The itching around the vulva has gotten pretty severe today. I have researched and it seems that I have virtually all of the yeast infection symptoms (I have experienced an STI and even bacterial vaginitis in the past, and this is neither of those).

I’m a very healthy 20 year old white male. I contracted what I believe was a yeast infection from a partner roughly 6 months ago. She treated it with a course of monistat and I treated mine with a 1% tolfinate powder spray and what was left of her 2% miconazole nitrate cream. It cleared the symptoms. Ever since then I will randomly become slightly irritated/red after stimulation whether it be masturbation, protected/unprotected sex, oral, etc. I’m circumcised and it is only irritated on the glans and above the circumcision scar, the shaft shows no signs at all. Its been very mild and barely noticeable up until my recent partner. We’ve had unprotected sex frequently, one night I laid inside of her for about an hour after sex and I believe it made the yeast infection symptoms very prominent again. I have a slight burning during urination that I’ve not experienced before. I began to treat it with a 2% miconazole nitrate powder spray, soaking in apple cider vinegar, and a homeopathic yeast/fungal detox. I’ve been treating it for almost 2 weeks, using the spray twice a day, soaking in a diluted vinegar solution every other day, and doubling up on the recommended dose of the detox capsules and the symptoms are nearly gone, but not to the point where i think they should be after two weeks. I still become very red and irritated even after the most gentle masturbation. Am I correct in assuming that this is a yeast infection that I didn’t fully clear up or are these signs of something different? Should I continue treating it this way or should I add/remove anything?
She began to feel a burning during urination and I immediately got a 1 day monistat treatment to try to knock it out as quickly as possible. Since then we’ve had sex 1 time with a condom and it really irritated her and caused her some dryness that she hadn’t had before. She’s beginning to use the 2% miconazole nitrate cream now. Is there anything else she should be doing?
going to a doctor is economically unfeasible….thats why im trying to find a cure online…id love to see a doctor, but i just cannot afford at this moment
